THE GOOD FRIDAY APPEAL

The Good Friday Appeal is an annual fundraising activity on behalf of the Royal Children's Hospital, in Melbourne, Australia. The event occurs on Good Friday every year. In 2023, the appeal raised over $23 million, setting a new record.

Legendary Irish comedian Dylan Moran live in Australia with a brand-new show Dr Cosmos. Moran will once again offer his unique take on love, politics, misery and the everyday absurdities of life, all served with poetical panache from one of the finest comedians of his generation.

Moran has been called the Oscar Wilde of comedy and his famed style – deadpan, witty and crackpot lyricism – promises to be an unmissable journey through his interpretations of the world, swerving cliche to offer a cutting blow to our idiosyncrasies.

Dylan Moran is a comedian, actor and writer who, in 1996 at the Edinburgh Fringe, became the youngest ever winner of the Perrier Award. He went on to co-write and star in Black Books which won two BAFTAs. Other notable screen roles include Notting Hill, Calvary, Shaun of the Dead and Run Fatboy Run.

Buckle up, kids. We're going on a road trip! It's been a big couple of years for all of us, but Rad Dad and all-round top bloke, Harley Breen is ready to make up for lost time in a cracking standup special of radness! 

What's he been up to? Not much. No wait - he's had another kid, moved house, filmed a TV show, had his truck 'Fiona' stolen, been the face of a beer cologne (of course) and packed three kids into a mid-size SUV as he tried to cross three states to outrun a pandemic.

Award-winning comedian, singer, actor, Michelle Brasier (Aunty Donna, Double Denim, Mad as Hell), dazzles with her critically acclaimed standup special at the Malthouse Theatre. 

Average Bear sheds light on Michelle’s personal experience living in the shadows of an hereditary illness, whilst simultaneously weaving in the fictional story of Average, a bear with a problematic fear of hibernation. Heartbreaking & hilarious, Average Bear yo-yos between grief and joy whilst reminding audiences that life is too short to be serious & to waste.
